Comstock Elementary PTA Reflections Program 2024: "Accepting Imperfection"
Welcome to the 2024 Comstock Elementary PTA Reflections program! This year’s theme, "Accepting Imperfection" encourages students to explore their creativity and express what the theme means to them. Students are invited to participate in the following six categories:
- Dance Choreography
- Film Production
- Literature
- Music Composition
- Photography
- Visual Arts
Who Can Participate?
The Reflections program is open to all Comstock Elementary students, from Kindergarten through 5th grade. To participate, at least one person from the student’s primary household must be a current member of the Comstock PTA at the time of submission. If you haven’t already joined, you can do so here.
How to Enter
Students may enter any or all of the six arts categories, and multiple entries are permitted within a single category.
Each entry must be the original work of one student, created specifically for the Reflections program based on this year’s theme, and must adhere to the National PTA guidelines.

Student Entry Form
Important
Every submission must include a completed entry form. Submissions without an entry form will not be accepted. The entry form can be downloaded HERE.
There are two ways to submit your entries:
- Physical Submissions: Drop your entry in the designated box located in the school’s main office. Make sure to include a completed entry form with your submission.
- Digital Submissions: Use this form to submit your entry digitally. You will be required to upload your completed entry form along with your digital submission.
Important Dates
- Submission Deadline: October 25, 2024
- Judging: Week of November 4, 2024
- Winners Announced: PTA General Meeting on November 14, 2024
Judging Process
Entries will be judged based on creativity, interpretation of the theme, and artistic merit. Judging will be conducted by a panel of Emerson High School students in a blind judging process.
Awards and Recognition
Winners will be recognized at both the school and PTA levels.
