About Comstock PTA
The goal of Comstock PTA is to support the efforts of Staff and Teachers at Comstock in order to foster a earning environment where each student is empowered to reach their full potential. We aim to inspire and educate students, helping them transform and achieve their goals, with a focus on individual growth and development.
Did you know, that of your $12 membership, only $6 is kept by Comstock PTA? The remaining $6 goes towards paying for your National & TX PTA Dues. There are many benefits to being a member, so be sure to check out their websites as well! We can't do all this with out your support on our PTA and as an active community member. Join us today!

Student & Parent Support
PTA supports a creative learning environment with educational resources, author visits and more. Here are our recent events:
- Josh Funk Author Visit
- Educational resources in Math and English for 3rd and 4th Grade
- STAAR Pep Rally
- 4th Grade Graduation Party & Field Trip
- Winter, Valentine's & End of Year Class Parties
- Tears & Cheers for incoming Kindergarten parents
School Events
We plan and host events to build our school community with:
- Back to School Bash
- Multi Cultural Night
- Running the National PTA Reflections program at our campus
- Book Fair
- Parent Events
- Walk & Roll to School Days
Campus
PTA funds have provided outdoor learning spaces, basketball hoops and curriculum resources. Here are some of the accomplishments from previous years:
- Installed two new Basketball hoops
- Paid for a Shade Structure, tables and benches to increase outdoor spaces
- Paid for a Shade Structure to cover the playground
- Sponsor the WatchDOGS program on Campus - Dads get to volunteer on campus!
Staff Support
We help our staff feel valued and supported through class supplies, meals and snacks, and appreciation gifts.
